Сергей, наконец, смог выйти из столовой и направился в цех, чтобы продолжить работу.
На удачу, инженер уже был в кабинете, так что его не пришлось искать, чтобы войти. Перекинувшись парой слов, каждый занялся своим делом: Сергей анализировал логи, а инженер что-то смотрел в рабочих журналах и делал в своём блокноте заметки.
Как и в случае с логами робота, ничего определенного найти не удалось. Все команды, шедшие (sent - transmitted, dispatched, issued, delivered - to cause something to go from one place to another) от тестового стенда, были правильными.

Он попробовал сравнивать время приёма (reception - receiving, acceptance, collection, intake - the act of receiving something) и передачи команд, но ничего хорошего не вышло. Сергей вспомнил разговор рабочих в курилке около столовой и заминку (hitch - delay, snag, obstacle, difficulty - a temporary problem or difficulty) на выходе. Но, в том разговоре, как раз был третий, который действовал точно наоборот – искажал (distorted - twisted, misrepresented, altered, falsified - to change something so that it is no longer true or accurate) передаваемую информацию. Нарочно (deliberately - intentionally, purposely, willfully, knowingly - done consciously and intentionally) или по небрежности (carelessness - negligence, inattention, recklessness, oversight - lack of attention or care), это уже не играло роли. Главное, что в результате получились возмущения, которые повлияли даже на выход из столовой.
«Так, а почему я ограничил систему только стендом и роботом? Как минимум есть ещё третий участник – связь между двумя машинами, пусть это всего лишь кусок кабеля, но его, определённо стоит проверить тоже!»
Это ещё не конец, но всё же, направление для поиска.
